Leaving from the centre of Rome, the first stop is the Basílica di Santa María Maggiore on the Esquiline Hill and its interior. Then you will walk the Scala Sancta and enter the St John Lateran’s Basilica, also known as the Cathedral of Rome.
We continue along the Appian Way, passing through the Church of Domine Quo Vadis, before reaching the Catacombs. These subterranean cemeteries are early examples of Christianity in Rome and, specifically, you will visit the Catacombs of St Callixtus, of St Domitilla or of St Sebastian, depending on the weather. We end with a spectacular visit to the Baths of the Emperor Caracalla.
